What is ImPACT Testing?
- A computer-based assessment tool that measures and sets a baseline for brain function.
- In the case of a concussion, baseline data can help the provider determine treatment plan and when it is safe to return to sports or normal activity.
Who should get an ImPACT Baseline test?
- All children 12 and under - once a year
- 13 and older - every two years
- When a patient does suffer a head injury or concussion, post injury testing is crucial.
