📝 Ingredients

For the Protein Crust (Chickpea Crust)

• 1 cup chickpea flour

• 1 cup water

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1⁄2 tsp salt

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp dried oregano


For the Antioxidant Sauce

• 1 cup crushed tomatoes

• 1 tbsp tomato paste

• 1 clove garlic, minced

• 1 tsp olive oil

• 1⁄2 tsp oregano

• 1⁄2 tsp basil

• Pinch of sea salt


High-Protein Toppings

• 1 cup crumbled tofu, seasoned (or 1⁄2 cup tempeh crumbles)

• 2 tbsp hemp seeds

• 2 tbsp nutritional yeast


Antioxidant-Rich Veggies

• 1 cup fresh spinach

• 1⁄2 red onion, thinly sliced

• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

• 1⁄2 cup mushrooms

• 1⁄2–1 bell pepper, sliced

• A handful of olives

• Fresh basil for topping


👩🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the chickpea crust

    1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

    2. Whisk chickpea flour, water, oil, salt, garlic powder, and oregano until smooth.

    3. Pour onto a parchment-lined baking tray to form a thin crust.

    4. Bake 12–15 minutes until set and lightly golden.

  2. Prepare the sauce

    1. Mix crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, olive oil, oregano, basil, and salt.

  3. Assemble the Pizza

    1. Spread sauce on the baked crust.

    2. Add spinach, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, and peppers.

    3. Sprinkle crumbled tofu or tempeh evenly.

    4. Add hemp seeds + nutritional yeast for extra protein.

  4. Bake Again

    1. Return pizza to oven for 10–12 minutes until veggies are tender and edges are crisp.

  5. Add Finishing Antioxidants


Top With:

  • Fresh basil

  • A drizzle of olive oil

  • Optional: red pepper flakes (antioxidant capsaicin!)
