Physician Leadership & Patient Advocacy Party

Our Physician Leadership & Patient Advocacy Party on Saturday, February 8 was a resounding success! A heartfelt thank you to Lois, Maria, Pam, Rebecca, and Gene—your dedication and support made this event possible, and we are truly grateful.

By the grace of God, physicians from across our great Commonwealth—independent and employed, primary care and specialists alike—came together for a shared purpose: to restore the Doctor-Patient Covenant of Trust. We were honored to welcome 53 physicians (78 attendees in total), all united in advancing independent medicine.

We were also privileged to host two outstanding speakers:

• Dr. Paula Maria Muto, a renowned vascular surgeon and founder of UBERDOC, who is revolutionizing healthcare by providing patients with direct, transparent, and affordable access to top physicians—bypassing traditional barriers to care. 

• Michael Repecky, an expert consultant in the insurance industry, who highlighted how direct-pay models can bring transparency and significantly reduce healthcare costs. Beyond meaningful discussions, we enjoyed great food and even played a healthcare-themed game, which I’ve included below. The questions and answers shed light on how our current healthcare system operates as a Goliath profiteer—reinforcing why change is imperative.
